Module 2

 Hello everyone its Olivia 


This is my first blog little bit scared to publish but here we go!

After reading the module 2 handbook over and over trying to make sense of it all! its now becoming clearer and i can say that i have some what of a structure finally!! 

i have decided to focus on teaching as it is a goal of mine within the industry . I am currently on a teaching course hopefully going to get my DDE qualification (post covid) 

Today i let my brain 'wonder' which brought me to loads of questions that i would love to research further into including 

> which age groups would i prefer to teach

> self employed, free lance teacher   how ? what dance school are currently out there

> what insurance, licences, finances ?

> How does a primary students learn in comparison to a grade 5 

> how children learn which ways do you go about teaching 

> which methods will you use, how will you learn about what methods to use 

>how to understand different students individually? 

> which other teaching qualifications are available to me ?

> positives and negatives about teaching ?


those are some of my thoughts about an area of my practise i would love to find out more about!

February 16th 2021  Hey guys  anyone else struggling with module 2, im feeling so overwhelmed with everything that we need to include anyone else feeling that there are so many parts to this module and it is very ongoing and i find im completing work but then finding more forms and sheets that we have to also include haha.  I am so thankful for our module 2 group chat you guys have been getting me through this module i find it so useful and if i had forgotten something you girls always explain and that is so helpful. does anyone know what they are using for there question for the inquiry proposal has anyone even thought abvout that yet? has anyone got anything done, i am slowly getting bits done day by day but i seem to be going very slow i feel that i am going to forget things.  From 121 with Sam what i found very helpful was when he gives feedback on work it is in the comment bar at the side of the page and you can keep looking back at it.  Thursday 29th April  Hey guys  what a module? anyone else feel this? we are so nearly finished this module 2 its nearly the final hand in date not long now thank god! Hope everyone is feeling ok with module 2. I must admit i am feeling so much better now that this modue is coming to an end i final feel set on all my work however i am still going with correction but also i have forgot to fill in the consent form, need to get on with it haha.  some tips Sam gave me was make sure you have a reasonable amount of literature it is OK for dates to be like 2013 but it would be helpful to have some literature up to date so current literature so it correlates with your chosen research question also  i have found that comment most helpful. Sam also said make sure you don just use articles to use books and blogs, make sure you can gather as much information as possible then you will have a stronger data collection. were nearly there girls and guys lets keep going and smash...

 Struggling is an understatement  Having just caught up with the module 3 focus zoom which was a week ago i am completely overwhelmed i feel others are much further in the process then myself which has got me panicking, Helen spoke about having themes in our essay this is when i started to panic i have only written my introduction and my literature review. Then i read another M3 blog she says shes been told the literature is not just one block paragraph it needs to be incorporated throughout my essay which i was worried because i thought i would have to start again. Helens advice was to step back and take a breathe, taking a moment to gathering your thoughts together, she said we have all got so much information however in order to place it in the correct ways we need to step back... i found this so helpful because i was tying to write my essay as fast as possible all guns blazing however i found myself stressing out more and more which left me not being able to write anything...
